Colours and words...

Had another go at the Colours and Words inspiration at Aussie Scrap Source, and although this isn't really the sort of colour combo I would normally go for, I really like how the colours work together.don't forget that you can vote for your favourite *here* or maybe even join in on the next challenge yourself :)

This month's inspiration over at One Little Aussie Word was 'somehow' and after putting this away in the too hard basket for a while - I finally came up with this layoutand because I've used a young-er photo of me, it was nice to play with flowers and pretty things which is not something I get to use alot on all the boy pages I mainly do ;) also I forgot to share this earlier but I had a card featured in a special edition of Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft magazine (Vol 15 No1) Cardmaking For Any Occasion, where I was asked to do a card for dads.
We had a very hectic few days last week, and it was nice to enjoy a pretty quite weekend, although it may just be the calm before the storm because school holidays start tomorrow ;) I did try and make the most of the weekend though by catching up on a few things - I still need to get pics though, so until then... thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a fabulous week ahead :)

Last weekend I took part in the Songbird Scraps launch party and created these two pages inspired by the challenge lyrics and because school photos have started arriving home I've scrapped this page about my son using this cool alphabet border from Remember When.
